This position is part of company's Shared Service organization which provides centralized finance and accounting services to the Group.
Our client is looking for a senior accounting expert, who manages, coordinates and controls the VAT reporting and booking, the Corporate Tax calculation and accruals of company entities.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Controlling and supervising VAT reporting, Reclassifications, Corporate tax preparation and Accruals
- Maintaining tax reporting calendar and coordinating tax reviews
- Ensuring SOX compliance and SOX controls completed on time (company is registered on stock market)
- Coordinating related statutory audit questions
- Monitoring local legal changes and training GL and Reporting teams
- Working closely with Group Tax Manger in all tax related questions
- Working from home and travelling to Vienna office twice a week
YOUR SKILLS AND REQUIREMNETS:
- Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent
- English – fluent (C1 level)
- 7+ years of working experience in Tax and VAT
- Good understanding of IFRS, VAT and Tax principles
- Understanding of SOX Controls in an international IFRS accounting
- Flexibility and effective communication

Brutto base salary will depend on the working experience, professional qualification and skills of the candidate. The advertised amount is minimum salary which can be offered for this role and does not include bonuses, benefits or variable part of the salary.
