You would be mainly working with the Reinsurance Operations and Reserving/Valuations teams to carry out the claims and loss tracking processes. You would also help identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, populating, booking and tracking claims
- Reporting, updating, and booking loss updates
- Monitoring events and identifying discrepancies related to claims and loss updates
- Validation of claims invoices and intake of new claims information from brokers
- Serving as primary source of data collection, organization, and distribution within the firm and with external parties
- Closely collaborating with underwriters and performing other duties as required
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role (claims or technical accounting) in (re)insurance
- University education (completed Bachelor's or Master's degree)
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel
- At least B2 English proficiency (speaking & writing)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish results
- Team player mentality with strong communication skills
- The ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Having a proactive, positive energy with the ability to collaborate with specialists across various backgrounds, cultures and locations
Gross base salary will depend on the working experience, professional qualification and skills of the candidate. The advertised amount is minimum salary which can be offered for this role and does not include bonuses, benefits or variable part of the salary.
